Assistant Coach - Thea Kent
Coach Kent's rowing career started at the University of New Hampshire, where she rowed for four years. After several years involvement with other sports she joined Colorado Junior Crew as a coach in late summer 2005. Coach Kent is certified by the United States Rowing Association (USRA). In addition to remaining active as a competitive athlete, she is attending school, and is locally employed in Boulder.
Conditioning Coach - Shae Shanahan
Shae Shanahan is a junior at CU majoring in kinesiology. In addition to rowing for the University of Colorado Crew, Shae is a lifeguard and water swim instructor and is CPR certified. As CJC's conditioning coach, Shae makes sure all athletes are warmed up and ready to get on the water every day. She also holds dry land workouts on the days that weather prevents us from rowing.
